Building Forum
Introduction

These sessions are designed to bring experienced builders and beginners together to share experience and tips to help build better models.

Complete beginners are welcome, and this series of meetings will have the aim of helping in the creation of a model boat for yourself. For our own Club members there will be a chance to share information and experience.

Club members will be on hand to offer advice and help to enable you to complete a model of which you should be proud.

If you have not built a model boat, or any model before, there can be so many questions that you may not be able to answer but we are on hand to help with all these.

The summer meetings has, been designed to lead people to decide what they would like to build, or build next, and to explore the pros and cons of the various options open to a new build.

We will look at materials, tools simple and not so simple, building processes and finishing the model to completion and launching.

Everyone will be invited to bring their work in progress to the meetings as a matter of interest for others or to seek help in the solution of a problem or to get advice on moving to the next stage of the build.
