A warm welcome is extended to all model boat sailors, whether scale, power, sail or electric propulsion.
Please note that due to it's size the pond is unsuitable for fast electric boats. (I.C. engined boats are not allowed by Suffolk Coastal District Council) .
Members are happy to advise newcomers to radio sailing with regard to sources and construction of any of our boats.

Each Monday is a dedicated 'Scale' or motor sailing day administered to by our Scale Secretary.
Members of the club also meet for an informal 'Scale and Sail' session on Wednesday mornings at the pond.
During the winter months, lectures and workshops on maritime topics are arranged, held at either Woodbridge Football Club, or the Deben Watersports Centre workshop adjacent to the pond.
During the year the club organises a fitting out supper, a club meal and has been known to have a barbeque in the Summer.
